A 56-second practice launch video

Practice launch video for a real feature (Mermaid to Excalidraw), made from a real screen recording: hook, problem, the feature in action, outcome, call to action. Captions carry the story; music and UI sounds are licence-free. Not a client launch video.

Independent Excalidraw practice launch video by Feature Launch Studio. Not commissioned or endorsed.

Video summary: drawing a flowchart by hand is slow. Open Mermaid to Excalidraw in the More tools menu, type the flow as plain text, watch a live preview, press Insert, and the flow lands as real editable shapes. Drag a box and the arrows follow, rename a label, export as PNG or SVG. Text in, editable diagram out. This is an independent practice video, not client work.

01 · What you get

One feature. One clear story.

For B2B SaaS teams with a feature to explain, a workflow to show, and an audience that needs a reason to care.

The launch video

A focused landscape video built around a real, permitted product workflow. Show what changes, without a tour of every menu. Plus a short vertical cut of the same story.

  • Launch Message Brief

One page. Who it helps, the problem it solves, and the action to take next.

  • Script for one feature

Clarity before the cut. Approved before anything is recorded.

  • Captions / SRT and poster frame

The useful finishing pieces for your team’s launch.

  • Bounded revisions

Scoped in a quote, so the review has a clear finish line.

US$750 per launch video for our first 3 clients. Standard price US$1,200. 50% deposit before the script; the rest on delivery. What does a launch video cost?

02 · How it works

Agree on the story. Then make it move.

The script is the checkpoint. Align on the message before recording and editing begin.

  1. 01

    Brief

Understand the audience, feature, launch context, and useful next step.

  2. 02The checkpoint

    Approve script

Review the message and workflow with one accountable approver.

  3. 03

    Record / edit

Capture the permitted demo and shape it into a clear, focused story.

  4. 04

    Review / deliver

Resolve the agreed revision rounds and hand over the scoped assets.

03 · Questions

Before the brief.

Clear expectations are part of the work.

How do I start?

Read the project brief and put your audience, feature and next step on one page. It is a plain-text template; nothing is submitted.

What should the video focus on?

One feature, one real workflow, and one audience. The brief helps narrow the story before a script is written. This is not a full product tour.

How are timing and revisions agreed?

Scope, timing, usage, and bounded revision rounds must be agreed in a quote before work starts. No fixed delivery or performance promise is made on this page.

Can you use our live customer workspace?

Use a permitted demo environment with synthetic data instead. Do not share passwords or real customer information. Agree on an appropriate access method before any recording.

What is Software Worth Knowing?

Software Worth Knowing is an editorial series under Feature Launch Studio, not a separate business or account. It is not presented here as a client portfolio.
